DBWS Tools for Windows
95/98/NT is a graphical interface for DBWS, one of the most used
programs for Rietveld refinements. DBWS Tools handles refinement
jobs by compiling Input Control Files (ICF's) for DBWS, running
the program and showing the graphical results using the shareware
program DMPlot, which plots diffraction patterns. DBWS Tools eliminates
the need for DBWS User's Manual every time an ICF is built, because
the files are compiled in a window-based interface which shows all
the meanings of each data field. Compiling ICFs the old way (usually
by editing it in non-formatted text editors such as Notepad or Dos
Edit) can be really confusing, besides the fact that errors regarding
data placement in the fixed fields of the ICF result in problems
when DBWS runs.
