The Thirteenth International Conference on High Pressure Semiconductor Physics (HPSP-13)
is a satellite meeting of the International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors (ICPS29)
to be held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) during the following week. Its aim is to bring together
scientists and engineers who use high pressure and other forms of high stress in the study of
semiconductors to present and discuss their latest results in this field. The HPSP-13 conference
will review, electronic, transport, spin-dependent, optical, structural, and vibration properties
of semiconductors with emphasis in the latest advances and developments in the field. Papers on
both traditional bulk and low-dimensional systems are welcome. Submissions of original work on
topics including, but not limited to the following list, are solicited:
- Low dimensional systems
- Carbon related structures
- Organic semiconductor
- Spin dependent properties
- Magnetic semiconductor
- Photonic band gap semiconductor and devices
- Bulk semiconductor and new techniques
- Molecular crystals: van der Waals interactions
- Manganites
- Ferroelectrics
- Wide band gap materials
You are invited to submit your contribution to this meeting.
